Atelier Noir

A concept store framed in deep emerald velvet and burnished brass, where retail becomes theatre.

The design centres on a quiet procession of rooms, each with its own material vocabulary — patinated brass and lime plaster in the entrance; deep emerald and oak in the library; calacatta viola marble and hand-loomed linen in the dining room. We worked closely with the client over eighteen months, and with a team of craftspeople drawn from our long-standing network of workshops.
